Matthew Lee
Clarinet
Hello, my name is Matthew Lee, and I am a freshman at Saratoga High School in California. I believe it is crucial for people to drastically reduce carbon emissions, as they are the primary cause of climate change and natural disasters. Without significant reductions, Earth may become unsuitable for life. Additionally, minimizing plastic and chemical waste is essential, as these pollutants have long-lasting impacts on the environment. I believe that everyone should do their best to help preserve the planet and sustain nature’s balance.
Eileen Lee
flute/art
Hello, my name is Eileen Lee, and I am a freshman attending Palo Alto High school. In order to conserve the existence of mother nature in its entirety, an effective and surefire strategy is required. Nature is only finite with global warming rapidly increasing. Rather than making volunteering a laborious task, Let Nature Sing creates a passionate and enjoyable way to contribute to our planet earth. Ultimately, we as humans can help with preservation by taking small steps such as spreading word through music.
Jason ham
piano
Hi, I'm Jason Ham, a freshman at Valley Christian High School. In today's world, many are aware of large environmental issues such as climate change, yet soil degradation often goes unnoticed. This crisis, caused by deforestation, overgrazing, and pollution, diminishes the soil's ability to support the growth of plant and animal life. Simple actions like composting and reducing chemical use can go a long way in restoring soil health. I hope that we all recognize not only the biggest but the smaller yet equally significant detriments as well, which will eventually go a long way in preserving our Earth.
lumi kim
violin
Hello, my name is Lumi Kim, and I am a freshman at Valley Christian School. When I was younger, I would constantly ask my mother to adopt me a pet penguin, particularly, an emperor penguin. My fantasy, however, was shattered when I learned they only live in Antarctica. After admiring them for so long, it broke my heart to see their habitats shrinking, and their populations decreasing daily as global warming worsens. I want to help address this issue and protect the countless animals affected by rising temperatures. These animals hold special memories for me, and I’m determined to contribute to restoring the planet to its natural state. I hope that our small efforts will gradually improve the environment and, one day, heal our planet.
Grace ji
Violin
Hello, my name is Grace Ji. I am a freshman at Saratoga High School located in the Bay Area of California. In today’s world, anything that anyone could ever need is available in the aisles of a store. It is easy to overlook the fact that our resources are finite if they are displayed in such a manner. This comes with the benefit of convenience but also contributes to the environment very negatively. Factories that produce an extraordinary amount of goods also produce carbon emissions, which causes climate change and pollutes the air. The waste that we mindlessly dispose of does not just disappear into thin air; it goes back into the environment, poisoning our waterways, oceans, and harming animals. I believe it is our mission, as the ones who have broken down Mother Nature, to nurse her back to health and spread awareness of her weakening condition.
