Class of 2027

NATHAN KIM

viola

Hello I am Nathan Kim, and I am currently a sophomore at the King's Academy. Invasive species are a huge, but lesser known environmental issue. Many animals brought in as exotic pets are abandoned, but the owners do not know the harm that they do to the ecosystems. I hope that through our performances and everyone's help, we can achieve the dream of a clean, healthy Earth.

Sherlynn Jin

Violin

Hello, my name is Sherlynn Jin, and I'm currently a sophomore at Lynbrook High School. Recently, several natural disasters have wreaked havoc all around the world due to the diminishing health of Earth, from the devastating Hurricane Hilary to the small wildfires that burn right in our backyards. I believe that together, we can take steps to learn more about the current environmental issues and how the smallest of our actions can help decline the rate of natural disasters and affect the welfare of our planet.

dahee kim

piano

Hi my name is Dahee Kim, I play the piano and I am a sophomore in Leigh High School. Although I don’t know a lot about nature yet, I do feel that we should try to help the environment at least a little bit at a time. The little things combined could make a big change and impact to benefit our world.

Aiden kim

Cello

Hi, my name is Aiden Kim, and I’m currently a sophomore at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, California.

In today's world, the state of our ecosystems and the environment is a problem that has come to many people’s attention. However, many claim that climate change is a myth or choose to ignore environmental issues and refuse to take any action. Simple and easy everyday tasks like reducing plastic use, minimizing food waste, and sustainable transportation can significantly impact the world. I hope that people can recognize that our environment and the current state of our ecosystem are in a fragile position because of the effects of climate change.

jina han

violin

Hello, my name is Jina Han and I am a sophomore attending Archbishop Mitty High School. I believe there are various ways to put ourselves in partaking to conserve the environment. While recycling and saving energy are good options, the most important way is spreading awareness. While we all are aware that the Earth is not stable right now, not many people know how urgent the matter truly is. Therefore, I want to emphasize the importance of how we as individuals can play a role in saving nature, and I hope to gradually see a healthier Earth.
